What is a winmail.dat file?
Winmail.dat files contain email messages from Microsoft Outlook. Since iPhones, iPads, iPod touch devices and Macs can't read them natively, users have to rely on third-party software such as Letter Opener to convert and open them.
What is a ZIP file?
A ZIP file may contain one or more compressed files or directories. Letter Opener can open ZIP files and give access to the files inside.
